Common questions about plant hire

The things people ask us most before they book a machine.

How quickly can you deliver a machine to my site?

Do you deliver, or do I need to collect?

What is the minimum hire period?

Can I hire an operator with the machine?

Are attachments and fuel included?

What do I need to hire from you?

What happens if the machine breaks down?

Same-day or next-day delivery is usually possible across Cambridgeshire and the eastern counties. Call us with your postcode and we will confirm a slot.

We deliver and collect with our own transport. Collection from our St Neots yard can be arranged if you would rather.

One day. Weekly and longer hires are priced lower per day — ask for a quote for the length of your project.

Yes, operated hire is available on most machines. Tell us what the job involves and we will match the right person to it.

Machines arrive with a standard bucket and a full tank. Breakers and other attachments are quoted separately; fuel used is charged at the end of the hire.

Proof of ID and address, and a valid ticket or supervision for anyone operating the machine. Account customers can order by phone or email.

Call us. We will send a fitter or swap the machine as quickly as we can, and you are not charged for time lost to a fault that is not yours.
