- Terraced gardens with side or through-house access: a micro digger with a 1 ton dumper. Tell us the narrowest gap on the way in.
- Extensions and footings: a 1.5 or 3 ton digger with a 3 ton swivel dumper.
- Driveways and patios: a 3 ton digger, 3 ton swivel dumper and a Bomag 80 roller.
- Site groundworks and drainage: a 5 or 8 ton digger with a 6 ton dumper.
Working in Cambridge
- Unloading in the city: many Cambridge streets are narrow and inside controlled parking zones, so plan where our lorry can stop to unload. A parking bay suspension from the council may be needed.
- Protected trees: much of central Cambridge is a conservation area, and many trees there are protected. Check with Cambridge City Council before digging close to one.
- Tight access: older terraces often have narrow side passages or none at all. Measure the gap before you book; our micro digger is the smallest machine we hire.
