Machinery hire across Peterborough
We deliver across the city and its townships, including Hampton, Orton, Stanground, Werrington and Great Haddon, and to villages such as Yaxley, Whittlesey, Eye and Thorney, and north to Stamford and Market Deeping.
Whether it is a garden, a yard repair or groundworks on a new estate, tell us the job and the postcode and we will match the right machines to it.
Why hire from St Neots for a Peterborough job
- Everything together: we deliver the digger, dumper and roller together, on our own lorries.
- A straight run: the yard is on the A1 corridor, so Peterborough is a direct trip.
- One point of contact: the same team quotes, delivers and collects.
- Long hires welcome: weekly and monthly rates for longer groundworks projects.
Working around Peterborough
- Fen drains: east of the city, around Whittlesey and Thorney, the land is drained by a network of dykes run by internal drainage boards. Digging close to one of their drains, usually within 9 metres, needs the board’s consent. Check before you start.
- Soft ground: Fen peat and silt go soft in wet weather. Our diggers are all tracked, and the track dumper spreads its weight better than a wheeled one.
